The music in Insidious is what made the movie scary in my opinion.

As an avid horror fan I can well and truly say Insidious is one of the only horror movies within recent years to actually scare me, and that in itself impresses me because by this point it takes a lot to do so.

What made this movie so scary was the super loud piano sounds whenever there was a jump scare. Nearly a decade later, I saw it, and could see why everyone said this movie was so scary. Brilliant horror movie.
