First, it's important to check if your iPhone is charging at all. If it is, clean off your MagSafe charger and your iPhone using a microfiber cloth.

Try plugging your MagSafe charging cable into a different charger, like a wall charger or the USB-C port on your computer. If it MagSafe works with one charger, but not the other, you've identified the issue is with your charger, not the cable itself.

If MagSafe still isn't charging your iPhone, troubleshoot for a software issue. First, restart your iPhone. Then, check for an iOS update. If neither fix the problem with MagSafe, put your iPhone in DFU mode and restore.

The trick to getting it to charge fast it to keep it cool, i turn my fan on when i use it and it makes a world of difference in heat dissipation and charge speeds

if it’s not working, make sure your charger brick is a 20W power capable charging brick

For me the charging brick isn’t powerful enough anymore… it works with a bigger plug. But it used to work with old one…

I know this segment is a bit old, but here goes. I have two MagSafe chargers one bought from apple and another bought from somewhere else. The Apple one I have up in my bedroom and the other down in my home office . When I put the phone on the charger in the bed room the phone lights up I get the green ring which tells how much charge etc..., however when I use the charger down in the office it charges the phone and works find but I do not get the Green ring on the display, any ideas why that might be? Does it have to do with wattage of the charger? Everything works as it should charging wise, but I just don't get the ring display on the home office charger?🤔
