I can see it both ways. Childcare is expensive. Saying it is a good idea to make it the taxpayers' problem? When a large swath of taxpayers dont need them. When they already have so many other programs the tax payers are paying for. Forcing more people into the workforce. The importance of family is apparently lost on these politicians.

The fact is if you can not support having a child. Maybe you should have considered that before stepping on that path, with someone and knowing that was a possible outcome. You can say that has nothing to do with it. Even though you really know it is the main point. Notice also, I did point a finger and say a man or a woman because both are responsible. Irregardless of how some "parents" act irresponsibly.
