I don't have a sim in my phone as my sim tray is missing !! But have sim in my tab so fe+ . So is it possible to recieve calls from my tab to the phone using this feature!?

My motorola phone will not allow my tablet to make or receive calls however it does let me send regular sms text messages just as i do on my phone. Why will my phone not allow my tablet to make calls or receive them? Ive searched for what was instructed and it does not show up in the search bar therefore i am assuming that my phone doesnt have the features to allow me to call from my tablet or receive calls to my tablet.
