Why I Think Carbon Fiber Insoles Can Help Pickleball Players

I wanted to dedicate a video to talk about these insoles that have significantly helped me reduce pain stemming from long hours of playing pickleball.

As many of you are probably also discovering-- pickleball is actually pretty tough on our feet, knees, and back. There's a lot of repetitive moments that require start/stop and jerky movements. For me, my back pain was a big issue.

As you'll see in the video, these insoles are designed to absorb shock and return energy. I noticed this especially whenever I load on the balls of my feet and take off-- these insoles gave a little bit of a spring effect. The result being: I feel less impact upon landing and it takes less effort to take off.

On their website, they have some pretty cool studies with orthopedic surgeons that talk more about the science behind this. Basketball and volleyball athletes having been using these for a while, and I think these will be extremely beneficial for pickleball players as well.

**Disclosure Statement: I was sent these insoles to review, however all opinions and thoughts in the video are my own**

If someone has Achilles issues, look at quality insoles that support your arch…especially if your a over pronator. Played college tennis, haven been a runner, but as soon as I picked up pickleball and began playing multiple times a week, started having Achilles issues. Now obviously, there’s more steps to correct Achilles tendinitis, but wearing a good orthotic from the jump, helps tremendously with feet and Achilles issues as we get older….

No chance especially at this absurd "designed for pickleball" price point.

I wear basketball shoes because they are designed for ankle support, cushion on hard surfaces, and lateral movement. Perfect for pickleball.

I use $10 metatarsal pads that I can position underneath stock insoles to support my arches in perfect position. Foot pain went away and I play 4 hours, 5 days/week.

If you spend this kind of money, might as well get custom insoles. However, my cheap method fixed the problem for me.

Any chance you can do a follow-up review on your Titan ball machine? Do you still use it a lot or as much as you hoped you would? Was it worth the $? Thanks

Just a suggestion, put the original insole on top of the aftermarket for: 1) less wear and tear on the material 2) give it an added cushion.

Nope. There are a tons of insoles for tennis shoes at a quarter of the price. Pickleball is a booming sports but there is no such thing as pickleball shoes or insoles period. Nike, Adidas, Under Armor etc has been around forever and they make the best insoles and shoes for tennis and pickleball, not a new company that is trying to profit off the booming pickleball business.
