Wow this is so full of misinformation. I’m from PG county and have lived here all my life. First, Glen Dale hospital was never a mental asylum. It was a TB Sanatorium and then later a nursing facility for the elderly. The whole ‘Insane asylum’ is just an urban myth.

Speaking of, the origins for the Goat Man have nothing to do with the hospital. It’s actually linked to the agricultural research center north of Bowie in Laurel. There’s rumors about scientists experimenting on livestock and creating a monster, AKA the goat man. The places he’s rumored to have been seen include much of North PG, including the hospital grounds.

Hey Tuv, can you do one on Pennhurst Asylum in Pennsylvania (i think in Spring City)? It was extremely messed up but is allegedly haunted AF, too. It's no more than 45 minutes from me, but i still never went. It's open publicly once a year around Halloween for a haunted house, but I'm more interested in the actual hauntings. I think this is one you'd like to research and cover.
