keeping it genuine and authentic will always be the way. the clients are literally just people. most people have goals, hit plateaus and get lost sometimes. coming from a place of service allows us to keep it natural.

@thefutur, I can relate to a lot of the things. I was in a sales position as my first job. The products were very crapy and it was just a start for me. I observed that the store had very little sales, and then I did the opposite of what my colleagues did. I listened more and empathized with the customers and I was one of the best salespeople in that store in a few week's time.

I love that you literally gave us a script to work with! 42 min a pure gold. That's why I always have to listen twice to make sure I got it all. Thank you! I hope I'll be so successful that I'll be writing you a check!

Chris! I watched the whole thing with all my attention.

I've been in sales for the last 10 years and all you said is true! 100% right!

Folks, this is how you REALLY sell if you want to sell more and stand up as authentic and genuine.

Selling is helping.

In Church and in the armed forces "thank you for your service " . . A disciple excells in their calling as a leader. Excellent Conference. Loved the ppt as well. CS to DFS is lovely.

The last strategy you shared makes the most sense ever. Always knew that was a great way to catch ppl attention but if YOU KNOW your value, you know it will repay bc you’re providing service. As people of God, that’s the easiest way to recycle as it comes back every trip!

Workshop Questions:
1. What pain does your client experience (functional, financial, emotional)?
2. What negative outcomes are your client fearful of, or trying to avoid?
3. What objections or accusations might new client raise?

What fucks it up for a lot of salespeople is that they're in a position of selling someone else's product, pitching someone else's pitch. They have no integral say in the quality of the product but have to pretend as if they truly vouch for it. It starts them off on the wrong foot, from a position of deceit. The best 'sales' exchanges happen more organically in more neutral communication frames where there isn't as much unnatural pressure.
