I thought when he said "without breaking the bank" means around $500 max. But $1000? Now that's destroying my bank 😂

I've always used a projector - they're awesome. The way you had it set up behind the couch you needed to get the standard projector instead of paying extra for a "short throw"....

A regular projector on a shelf behind your sofa would of been just right. A short throw was the wrong choice.

I had a hard enough time bringing myself to buy a $450 monitor, let alone a $1000 projector.

TechChap should revisit this topic now that Ultra Short Throw projectors are out and relatively affordable. The Xiaomi WeMax is relatively affordable and has an ultra short throw option as well as better speakers than the one in the video. Definitely worth looking into the Ultra Short Throw market and see what they have.

I’ve been gaming on projectors for 4 years and I’ve had an array of different projectors from the optoma gt1080 which is a great option for a very bright short throw 1080p pj up to now the Epson 5040ub 4K enhanced and I do believe projectors are an amazing way to experience gaming and you don’t lose a whole lot of lag with these in my opinion great video

A decent room cinema projector allows you way more zoom and pan options. Almost no matter where you would put it you get a great 120" screen

How is image quality/colors compared to an actual TV/monitor? Really curious as I'm thinking of buying one.

I loved to game on a projector when I was in middle school, hooked it up on my Wii and it was a huge screen.

I had a HD projector that cost £80 second hand with new bulb. It sat at around 80 inch with good color and definition but i had to black my windows out and use a dimmer light. I also had to use a fan. It was a beast of a set up though.

I had a 2500$ epson projector which I sold early because of 4k coming around. I sorely regret that decision. Watching hockey games and etc on it was fantastic.

Hi Chap, there is a question I want to ask. How can we tell which projector has the low input lag? You know there are so many projectors on the market? Thank you in advance.
