LAMP stack is a popular stack used to develop web application and is the stack we will use in my Intro to Web Development tutorials. In this video, I explain LAMP and its components (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). I also go over basic definitions.

Does it have to be Linux for the OS? Could we use instead say like Mac OS or Windows?

Hi nice video actually i am trying to understand how tech stacks works, i am being windows user for the last 10 years but the last week i discovered dockers and start working on Laravel, my question is: using laravel sail wich actually uses docker for execute commands is considered LAMP stack? i am not sure about that, but Laravel sail as well work with MySql, PHP and Windows Subsystem for Linux, if you can answer me i appreciate as i can see you have a lot of experiencie.
