Exactly. My ex even had to spell it out to me. She even told me to just shut up and listen, and quit trying to fix everything for her. That went against my entire mindset. It was painstaking to just sit there and listen to her complain, cry, and criticize about things she just wanted to vent about, rinse and repeat. I wanted to tell her to not tell me- tell your girlfriends all it- just call me when you're ready to regulate on your haters.

It works if she knows how to actually process her emotions . Understanding what emotion she is actually feeling, control said emotion don’t let it take over her and then express it in a healthy manner . Rather then just feel a emotion and throw it out to the world guns blazing .

New sub. I think men need to understand what it means to be a covering for there woman. Understanding there is times they will be emotional, understanding there is times they will make mistakes, and they have weaknesses, and being that safe space so they can make there mistakes and grow. Also women have to understand not Everyman is a true covering, and not every space is safe, some men are looking to capitalize off of weaknesses and some places is an open battlefield where you can’t be protected, so there’s places and people that a good covering doesn’t want you to be around because showing weaknesses in those places can be costly. So understanding how to be a good covering is essential but also submitting to that covering is also essential
