BMW has some of the best body lines Ive ever seen, although this is not their best effort I think it LOOKS pretty good. Its the mechanicals that keep me away, I just don't trust them and have an aversion to flat beds. Great review as always, smooth as butter.

The X2 is the only X-car I would want to have. I liked the first gen looks better than this hunchbacked coupe style, and I preferred the more compact size of the first gen. It looked like a hot hatch and was a hot hatch in the M35i trim. I also question why they changed out the tried and true 8-speed transmission for the 7-speed DCT, but time will tell. The biggest downside imo is the loss of climate control dials and new integrated infotainment screen and gauge cluster panels. I would prefer a less prominent infotainment screen integrated discreetly into the dashboard, apart from the gauge cluster. I also prefer the first gen shifter. Despite my preference for the first gen styling, I still think this a cool looking machine and I bet the M35I is a blast to drive.

Do not like the removal of temp buttons, too focused on emulating Tesla by moving most controls to a screen vs keeping BMW heritage of sports oriented controls.😮

The 2024 X2 BMW 28i should have visible chrome exhaust pipes for an sportier appearance! I would prefer smaller version!!
