Today I will compare the sound of the JBL Clip 2 with the brand new JBL Clip 3.
Under the hood, both have a single driver with 3 watts output power.
So let’s see how big the difference is and how much JBL could improve the sound of the Clip 2.
I will play some songs on the speakers and tell my personal opinion at the end of the video.

It could be that the quality control for the clip 3 isn't as good as it was for the clip 2. I owned the clip 2 for about a year. When it fell into water the clip 2 was destroyed sadly. I had to argue with JBL about it for almost 2 hours and they finally agreed to send me a new clip 3. But when I received it immediately I could tell the sound quality was far lower than the clip 2. You know how turning it on and connecting to your phone makes some sounds? Those same sounds sound terrible coming out of the clip 3. It's not a smooth velvety sound, it sounds far too crispy and there's audible distortion!! What is that about.... I can't believe JBL would release an inferior product like this (but then again they released the clip 2 which is supposedly IPX7 "waterproof" but the first time mine got submerged in fresh water it was destroyed so I guess I wouldn't put anything past them anymore)

Clip 2 sounds far superior than clip 3. I don’t know why you can’t hear that

Can we see the inside?? :O amazing video fam! Wanna see more! Recently a friend of mine got jbl go 2 and it isn't really impressive im not a big fan of it but it has a really good improvement in the go series and in the price of 35€ it is ok 👌 see you next time bro! Peace

Nice, but add $10 you could buy a tribit xboom. But for its size, it's ok.

I felt the same as Barok. Just bought the 3 and comparing the the 2 of a friend, which I was using in the last weeks, I even wrote to JBL to ask on how to check if it is an authentic JBL one. But now seeing this review, thanks for that, I think I see the same difference here.. I feel the 2 has better bass.. I feel sound from Spotify not very clear on my Clip 3 but will keep on checking.. trying to understand
