How to unlink your Facebook account from your Meta/Oculus quest headset! 100% Working!

today I'm going to show you HOW you can say goodbye to the Facebook account requirement on your meta/oculus quest 2. This is the official Meta method so It 100% works and its VERY VERY easy to do.

*IMPORTANT INFO*

This will allow you to revert back to the old oculus accounts and remove Facebook from your device COMPLETELY. Meta accounts will be released soon but you will NOT lose any features from the device other than seeing your Facebook friends on the headset!

Hey so I actually made an oculus account in the past, but I ended up making a Facebook account when I got my Quest 2. Bc of the requirement, I never ended up using the oculus account or linking/merging it with Facebook. However, since I have both accounts and I don't want to be linked through Facebook anymore (because screw the requirement in the first place), is there a way to move my Facebook VR info to my oculus account? Or how does that work?? Is that just the merging process even though it's reverse (Facebook --> Oculus)?

Unless of course your oculus account is no longer your oculus account and they just reset everything and overwrite old data from Oculus to meta aka the new Oculus to make Meta easier to implement. All my games gone.

Make sure you have your details all ready to hand. They will ask you why. You can lie or refuse but I said I was forced Into it and never wanted it as that's the truth. Hate Facebook lol
