Religious grifters and creeps

When I was a new Christian I remember turning on the TV and finding out that there was actually a "Christian" channel! I watched it and what I saw was creeps like this trying to scam people out of money by twisting the Bible.

This is not the way.

Back in Jesus' time, the expensive method of travel was chariots. Jesus wasn't riding on a chariot, and even the donkey He used was borrowed.

I used to believe what he was saying. I believed it was my lack of faith that was causing me to not be in a better financial position after sending money to the likes of him, Kenneth Copeland etc. Praise God for opening my eyes to these false teachings. Many, many are deceived.

I believe a pastor should be paid a livable wage, assuming the congregation can afford it. All churches are not huge mega churches or even 300-500 hundred most are probably less than a hundred people. My dad was a coal miner, one of the men he worked with and gave him a ride to work was also a preacher on sunday.

My mother in law watches this guy and Kenneth coplin. I'm doing my best to show her what these guys are really doing. She bought into the whole word of faith movement she truly believes that our words can manifest just by naming and claiming. It's sad really

Sad thing is this is what other movements and religions say Christianity is, they use stuff like this as examples, glad I finally saw through the fake to see the real ones that preach truth 🙌🏻

I honestly started feeling really bad for these grifters.
Because one day,
they will leave the land of the living, all of their wealth and jets and megachurch buildings will be burned up, and they will stand in front of the Living God, laid bare and nowhere to run;
And He will simply give them a look and they will know that He sees them for what they are, and they will be held accountable.
Even Satan will flinch when he sees their punishment come to fruition.

One of my favorite scenes in Les Miserables (the book) is when it describes the Bishop that eventually gives Jean the candlestick holders. He sells all the rich trappings of his predecessor and gives the money to the poor, including his carriage.

When some parishioners complain, he agrees with them and says it is presumptuous of him to ride around on a donkey like Jesus did.

It’s the direct opposite of this pastor.

Duplantis, Copeland, Hinn, etc make me sick. I confess I struggle with hatred and bitterness ...what they represent!! It makes our job harder to reach the lost because some non believers have more common sense than their followers. It blows me away that people actually buy into what they preach. But take heart (speaking to myself) the Bible predicts this ! Thank you for your word Lord, this actually strengthens my faith!
