Activision did to Blizzard what EA did to Bioware.

It still amazes me that activision can even sell one game with everything they have done.

#1 has to be merging. When Blizzard was alone, they cared more about the fans and creating excellent games. When Activision bought them out, they cared more about making money.

"Hey, is this an out of season April Fool's joke?"

One simple question destroying the company's reputation forever.

At first I was thinking they should've mentioned the poor business decisions Activision made with Skylanders Imaginators, such as purposely making the Imaginite Creation Crystals non-resettable, so if you want to make more custom Imaginators of the same element but different battle classes, you'd have to buy more crystals. That alone is not only an extremely shamelessly greedy and scummy move, even for the standards of Toys-To-Life games, but it was also incredibly insulting to the intelligence of both Skylanders fans and consumers alike! And that's just 1 of many poor business decisions Activision made with the final entry of the Skylanders series.
The only reason why that's not on this list (from what I've come to understand), is because the Skylanders franchise is not associated with Blizzard. Activision was the publisher of Skylanders and owns the rights to the series, but its developer was Toys For Bob (and Vicarious Visions worked on a couple games as well), not Blizzard. If you ask me, that's the only reason why the things I mentioned earlier didn't make the list, otherwise it would've fit perfectly on this list!

Notice how the Auction house was the only Blizzard fail prior to Activision merger.

Fun fact: Activision hasn't produced an original or non-licensed IP since Destiny in 2014 and Blood Drive in 2010.

Also, the fact that they sidelined Raven Software, a very capable studio, for over a decade to just work on CoDs multiplayer is pathetic

What's even worse is that none of this will ever really end, and will probably only get worse as they keep pushing the envelope more and more hoping we will get more and more desensitized to their greedy quality cutting schemes. Maybe if a large part of the gaming community would communally not purchase the product until certain criteria/demands are met, but that is just a pipe dream.

10. This could've just been called "Milking their franchises to death."
9. This is basically Blizzard's way of saying, no, DEMANDING "Either you play THIS version, OR NOT AT ALL!" When the only way you can get people to play your game is at gunpoint, IT'S NOT GONNA BE WELL LIKED, AT ALL!
At least they didn't go as far as to manipulate or shut down negative reviews just because they can't take criticism or won't admit they made a bad game. *Ahem* Dungeon Keeper Mobile
5. This wouldn't be the first time Activision got hit with a lawsuit. The true fail of this entry is that Activision was somehow able to be sued, lose, and still get away with screwing over their employees and shareholders, MULTIPLE TIMES!
Even worse, because they keep making money, they don't even care if they end up losing some along the way to fix the problems they made. Because they make money much faster than they can lose it!
4. If South Park, Borat, Tropic Thunder and Big Mouth have taught us anything, it's that there's an art to tastelessness.
3. I will NOT break the law. I will NEVER stoop to extorting the playerbase via pay to win mechanics!
Because in a just world, microtransactions, DLC and other perks would be seen as just that, bonus perks, not vital essentials that say or make you feel like you can't have fun or play the game without them!
2. I've heard about being tone-deaf, but this is taste-deaf AND heart-deaf! That "apology" from Blizzard was quarter-hearted and totally phony! They 100% ignored ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS about the problem just so they could keep business running with China!
1. "I thought you said it was a fortune!"
"It IS a fortune." - Conker's Bad Fur Day (2001)
Simply put, if you don't treat your employees with the right respect or can't compensate them with a living wage, its gonna dissuade LITERALLY EVERYONE that looks up to you from EVER dedicating their time to working with you! Honestly, you'd think that hearing the stories from Konami or EA would tell these publishers and companies a thing or two about how to treat their workers!
