I need to watch this over and over. I’m older now and it kinda hit me outta nowhere. I know that may sound strange but all of a sudden I’m old and I live everyday now worried what will happen to me in the future and what will I do if something happens to my husband. Constantly fearful. Thank you for posting this ❤

I don’t think it was rambling or too chatty. Your info was clear, organized and mostly honestly personal! That helps to connect with you by knowing that you, too, are affected and overcome challenges. I thought it was a real think piece to reflect on., Thanks

I am 60 and I don’t feels those things so much any more, I get ageism though, treated like less because I am not young, I am sick of the baby talk and talking down too, little jokes or being passed over, I won’t tolerate it any more . I lived thru the 70s, had to fight for my right to be a woman in the work place, now I have to fight to be taken seriously with younger co workers etc

I like how you mention that we are tempted to keep extra because it give the illusion that when something bad happens it will be okay because we have extra. I know that is how I think, but the people that I know who have decluttered and then had something bad happen were so glad they had decluttered because it made it easier to deal with their life. I hadn’t really put that together until you said that so thanks.

Comfort inside the tension of doubt as we let go. Wow that’s a wonderful insight. As you described it I’m nodding in agreement. I just hadn’t figured it out and you put it in words.

I pray that you will find comfort and peace in God’s love. ❤ I am praying for you.

Thank you for sharing this. I totally agree. I like to think of surrendering to God and His will rather than surrendering to doubt. Let go and let God. Happy Easter 🙏🤍🌷

Taking a MANAGED risk is what life is all about. Its also helpful to realize what we each have attached to, as comfort items to handle our anxiety. When we're two, having a teddy bear is age appropriate. At adulthood, such comfort items or experiences can be life damaging.

I've learned how little of my life I actually control, and am ok with it, Also, having radically changed career paths three times, I've seen how God has used all of what I have been to enrich my current self. I admire your work and openness, Shalom!"

I believe its kind of normal when your dealing with chronic illness/ disability. I have a life shortening disability and it can be scary to become very aware that we don’t have control…. Especially when illness takes over for a while…… just to remind us 😮. I have watched you before I knew about your MS because I really want to/ need to downsize …. I may end up not being able to choose before I choose, and that is scary. Your right though, so is living. Thanks ❤

Great video to watch in the morning! Thank you for reminding me that we cannot control what happens each day, but I know I am capable of weathering any storms that may come my way. I’m slowly learning to enjoy the process of life and being in the moment.

Lately I’ve been reminding myself to relax and deepen into trust. Trust is the opposite of doubt. Trust your instincts, trust that you can handle things, trust that you are growing, trust that people are generally good, trust that you are doing your best, trust that everyone else is doing their best. I find it a great reminder to breathe and deepen into trust. Spring is a great reminder of this because we spend all winter trusting Spring will come! Thank you for your videos!

New sub here, really getting a lot out of your content, thank you. I really identified with hearing you talk about leaving the field after years of work getting your PhD. I did that too and it's not something that I have found a lot of people have done or that I have been able to talk about it with.

Great message. We can plan and prepare, but ultimately we have no control over life’s outcome. Wishing you strength and positivity with your MS diagnosis. ❤

We took early retirement at 53, and 55. My husband has lots of health issues, I have various other issues. Our kids were grown, we'd already downsized. Less stress
helped a lot. There are part time jobs, needing less, and so much less stress. Tina, Al's wife
