Alan Watts is the "Sage" for this era in time. And you know that what he's saying is so profound that you can feel the energy that it represents.

immortality is plagued with the curse of never being able to forget your painful memories - imagine being you forever, sooner or later we all want to forget it all. for it to start again - for the game to be anew

Thank you for sharing this clip. I've been a long time listener of his talks. I find Watts to be quite soothing and to be endlesslly insightful. And I'm pleasantly surprised by the fact I had yet to see this clip. I really enjoyed it. Thanks again!

It's interesting that we can recognize that we have forgotten, but then that leaves us in this state of knowing you've forgotten something. So then we start searching of course, we have been left with a wound but forgotten how it got there. Not knowing if it will heal or if it will get worse, giving us anxiety of the future and stress and confusion of our past. But as he says, it matters not where it came from. It's then time to trust in your body to take care of the wound and know that it will as long as you love it and support it.

Now I can stop beating myself up for not doing things perfectly so quickly. Of course I'm not going to remember things all at once.
