We do driveway by hand all the time. We however always do a binder course and then top coat. These small driveways are just inefficient to bring a paver to, unload, get one stupid dump and then reload it. We can do them by hand almost just as quick. There’s really nothing wrong with this driveway if it’s the proper thickness

I can remember all those times that a home owner would approach me while pulling traffic control/flagging duty on Michigan roads & ask " Do you do private drives?"- Sure do. But I can't give ya an estimate, though.

Do you spray water before you roll it. Because if I don't why does the asphalt stick to my roller. Too hot. ????

I know nothing about tarmac but eve. I can see no hard core.no compacting.. not even any edging strips.be lucky to get a year before all bowing

If you know anything about asphalt that looks like shit and will crack and blow apart. When you work it by hand like that you segregate the mix A professional asphalt job will last 20 plus years sure you paid half for less than half the life.
