That dodge mechanic has me worried. It could easily trivialize fights, or equally as bad, be accounted for in the system and you’ll need to be dodging to not just get one shot by everything.

If this is in the future, I wanna see a Miraidon that either makes a cameo in a poster in-game or as a catchable Pokémon. Ik that its probably not AS far into the future as Miraidon but it would still be cool.

I think zygarde cells are gonna be more in depth than spiritomb, the website said zygarde took special interest in the player which most likely means it’ll follow you around the whole game like miraidon and koraidon. and the lettered area gates have suspiciously zygarde core shaped logos, which probably means we’ll unlock new areas to catch pokemon by collecting zygarde cores through defeating bosses

Ok, so now this new battle system means two things
1: My friend wasn't really a fan of pokemon old battle system, and this one is defenetly more fit for him.
2: I'm now scared of future strong boss that will come in this game.

it kinda seems like having moves with big hitboxes and having protect would be good with the new battling style

Interesting how the starters combinations are Chikorita and Totodile, 2 from Gold and Silver and 1 from Black and White. I guess they are choosing starters based on aesthetics?

To me the whole like you can move your Pokémon and Dodge attack kind of reminds me of how in the anime you can do that so I think they’re trying to take inspiration from that
