New York City Driving | Upper West Side to Canal Street via West Side Highway

Join me on this scenic drive through New York City as we travel from the Upper West Side on Riverside Drive to Canal Street in Lower Manhattan. We wanted to take the Henry Hudson Parkway but the southbound entrance was closed at 79th Street. The signs detoured us to West End Avenue and 11th Avenue, and we had to catch the highway further down at 55th Street.

I watched this video the day you posted it. I had just written a fairly long comment. (you know me by now. lol) When I tried to send it it wouldn't let me. Turns out my internet went down as I was leaving the comment and it has been down for days until now. I really enjoyed the drive with you and your dad. The funniest and scariest part of your adventure was the sign that read, " Drop Off Area Ahead." In a city with tall skyscraper's, let's just say it might be a bit unnerving for tourists. lol
