Thank you for the additional information on Mark's use of the word "immediate" and "straight away". I counted it even in my Afrikaans Bible and the word in Afrikaans which means immediately is "dadelik" and it appeared 11 times.

I never placed Mark with Peter at all. Then I remembered that it was at Mark’s mother home where prayers were said when Peter was in prison, and when Peter was released by the Angel it was there that he went.

It always a blessing studying together with you brother Pedro and sister Colleen. So, Pedro, is this the same John aka Mark that was in jail and had his head being amputated and was sent to the island of Patmos ?

The writer of the lesson said Mark failed i dont agree .You fail when you give up totally. The Bible said he returned home, and that doesn't tell me that he failed . You fail if you stop trying . Excellent lesson 😊
