I would like to see more artisan soaps that have the embeds put down kinda all over the top without being conscious of the individual bars, and when you cut them it doesn't matter if the embeds get cut in half. I might get a bar that has a whole embed plus a half of another and maybe a third of another, I'm ok with that and think it would even suit certain designs!

Back to school supplies are clearanced usually the first or second week of September. Immediately, Fall decor goes out. Halloween is out by third week of September and usually sold out a week before Halloween. We started receiving Christmas merchandise in around mid-September if not earlier. As soon as Halloween is done, we are in full-fledged Christmas mode! Thanksgiving is thrown in there whenever we get it (usually between back to school and Halloween!).

Retail really makes you forget what time of year it is, especially in a big company where we literally roll from one holiday into the next year around.

would you ever consider doing a channukah themed soap? i know this year you’re doing slightly more generic winters designs rather than full fledged christmas colors so it’s more versatile but it would be nice to have a soap for a jewish holiday :)

I personally love any activity in snow. Myself being a fellow Texan, it seemed like it was years between snow as a kid. One memory (we even have it on video) is my mom took me to ride a box down the iced hill. One kid there had a 50 gallon jug that he cut in half and talked my mom into doing it. She did and it was EPIC!! She flew down the iced hill and right into the creek! She was drenched!

It was so good to hear you chat again!! And oh goodness, we never went sledding (didn't have enough snow/hills for that) but one year my mom made my little brother and I snowsuits+boots out of garbage bags so we could go play in the snowfall. We were extremely poor, but she never let us know. There was enough snow for us to build a slide, and we went up and down it for what feels like ages. It's definitely one of my core memories. I still look back on it and smile.

Ice skating or sledding… that‘s such a hard question 😅 I love both. Sledding makes me feel like a child again, it‘s like experiencing the joy of the good old times.
And ice skating is just so much fun ☺️ I‘m not that good and in the beginning I‘m always so afraid to fall 😂 but after a few minutes I get the hang of it and it’s really nice! The speed and the gliding are great

the top of the slab makes me think of so many things. Tracks on an ice skating rink, cracks in a frozen pond, looking through layers of bare branches. On individual bars I think the swirl is better than the lines, but on the slab the movement of the lines is really cool.

I am grateful that holidays come out early. As a maker and just a crafter. I like to make holiday cards and I can’t wait til November or December to get started. Which is true for many people who are small businesses. But this year with shipping issues they definitely needed to do it earlier.

I've always dreaded Christmas, lots of people, lights, the music just something I've never liked so I remember getting anxious when Christmas stuff came out growing up. And I remember it always coming out so early

So pretty! I am not a cold lover, we don't get much snow luckily. We took the kids skiing a couple times when they were young, and tubing once. One time, though, we had gotten groceries and Costco stuff and had parked at the top of our hill when it snowed, so he got the kids' sleds and we sledded down with our groceries! That was an experience!

Sledding for sure! But I really love snow fort building!!! We created some really impressive forts. I also love to build snowmen. When we moved to Tennessee from Iowa my kids cried because we were sitting on the porch in shorts and tees. They got bikes for Christmas, but my boys were torn up because they couldn't go snowboarding! My middle son was destroyed by that. Now days he spends the week before Christmas at Disney World! Boy has he changed, lol!
The soap is gorgeous per the usual, lol! I always love your holiday collections! I'm sure your right about the supply chain being crazy. Yes, we had the same issues. We even bought our turkey for Thanksgiving two or three weeks ago. Along with the stuff to make stuffing and desserts. I was afraid they'd run out!!!

I am from Tennessee and it usually snows at least 1 good time a yr if not a few more and when we were kids we used to sled on my stepdads siding pieces cuz thats what he done for a living so thats what we had and we always had a blast!!! Best memories ever of all time. Besides when I met my husband when I was 13 and am 38 now and are loving every min of it. LOL
