I still remember being layed up sick in bed and my father running up to my room and bouncing around like a little kid yelling “he’s back playing Credence”.

I'm fully convinced that John was born with a guitar in his hands. I wonder if his family ever gets jealous knowing that no matter how much he loves them, he will never love anyone or anything as much as he loves the guitar. What a legend!

I love this song! And to see John Fogerty give it all on stage, and the official video was good to! With John Fogerty playing himself and the old man. He has been a sir Fogerty to me, because I respect him so much! How much I admire him, I can't say. With his productions of wonderful songs way back in the CCR time, and until know, I'm out of words. To me, he is the best ever, with that voice, that sound, his genius talent❤️ One more thing that makes me respect him even more. He has never lived that Rock'n Roll life, he got married as a young man, still is with the same woman, and together the have raised fine kids! John is a good example of that one doesn't have to destroy your brain, health, life and all. He is the best musician in the world and songwriter I know. Rolling Stone has ranked him as nr 40 of the 100 best guitarplayers in the world. That ain't bad! I'm thinking of his guitar solos in songs like 'I put a spell on you'. They couldn't be better. He has a great sense of humour to, how much I have laughed of " It came out of the sky". I wonder if John Fogerty knows how much he means to his fans. I hope he does 🌹

Since i was a kid and Mr. F. wasn’t much older he inspired thousands to take up guitar. No matter your level of skill- John is the greatest exemplar of our craft. I’m talking about Rock and the amazing styles he can play. Incidentally an accoustic John ( Martyn) and a classical guitar player John ( Williams) also inspire the gifted amateur. Along with the great older pioneers such as Rev Gary Davis, Leadbelly and Mississippi John Hurt et al then all i ever needed to keep me at my own playing style is this wonderfully unique stylist and the world’s best vocalist- certainly in Rock. Listen to ‘Heard it thru the Grapevine and Feelin Blue etc and.. really listen to the voice- unique. The best this humble writer has ever heard. Sometimes his voice could be a three note chord! Check out: ‘’Have you ever seen the Rain” for the voice at the end of a verse and you will know that i kid you not. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
