Sounds great! One bassist to another… I would roll off that neck pickup… get that Jaco honk. It really helps with 16th notes. Tightens up the funk. Bass work like that needs just a little more upper mids and low highs to really make it pop.

Or… go the way of the producers special and make it a Fender Jazz…. This ain’t no P-Bass job…😂
