To clarify, the guy who did the trick shot (Daniel Habesohn) won the game because his opponent (Dang Qiu) hit it past the table. That’s why Daniel started celebrating and deliberately didn’t return it.

Edit: I know this rule is obvious to a lot of you, but back when I posted this comment, there were a lot of people trying to say that Daniel “celebrated too early” which was confusing other viewers, when in reality he saw that his opponent’s return shot was out of bounds. I wouldn’t have posted such an “obvious” comment otherwise.

Dang Qiu would go on to win the match 3-1, but every game was really close, most going into extra points, and this was an excellent shot by Habesohn, was a good match to watch.

For those curious this was in the semi-finals of Tischtennis Bundesliga's 22/23 season, and Dang Qiu's team would go on to win this overall match 3:0, beat the same team again 3:0 several days later, and then win the finals 3:1 against a different team.
