Wow, that's much easier than I thought! I did the transmission drain and fill on my 8th gen after watching your video some months back. Dealership wanted $100 labor (I supply my own fluids / parts for jobs they do for me). They only charge me $20 labor for oil changes. But, I saw your video before I asked them. I knew it was as easy, or even easier, than an oil change. But because it has "transmission" in the name, they charge more. Now I am thinking of doing the coolant, it's been since around 120k miles, 5 years ago, now at around 165k. This seems almost as easy, just a simple drain and fill again. Anything extra I should make sure I think of or do?

Hey Dan! Thank you again for taking the time to make this video for those of us who need some help in these areas! I would be one of those people!

I would add that's it's important to bleed the system properly. I like to use a spill proof funnel and make sure the air bubbles are gone before driving the vehicle

Seems pretty simple. Something I've always neglected. Thanks.

Great video. Just did mine however it was colder out. It's possible however it takes a lot more effort to get the fans to turn on. Mine turned on once and after that i let it idle for about 15 mins. Test drove it for 45 minutes driving agressively and everything worked fine.

Love your videos!. I think the videos that you don’t have music on are a little easier to hear/understand you. This one the music Silas slightly loud, but other than that I appreciate you making these!

The music is distracting. Just keep it simple and straight to the point, which you're doing except the background music.

Thx for video! I’ve used a couple vids for reference! Two questions…since it’s a Sunday I can go get Prestone fluid…will that work good? I’ve used it before. Also I add to the reservoir at times…why the reservoir and not radiator?

I don't intend changing mine but have wondered where the reservoir is to check the level. Had to top up oil and had a look, found the cap in the place it is in this video. Most of the videos show a different system.
Only had the car two and a half years 🙃

I was told when you are filling the radiator make sure the motor is running or the block can freeze.
