🛑🚨!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!🚨🛑
Great video but a piece of advice when swapping fluids you do not put the radiator cap back on before starting the vehicle and letting it run until you have burped all the bubbles out of the system. You want it to run long enough that the engine is up to running temp and the thermostat opens.

You make it so easy and simple, thanks for making this video it really helped me do my own flush. Other Youtubers talk to much nonsense and make it sound more complicated.

Hey Johnny I really appreciate this video cuz I wanted to do a radiator flush with the prestone radiator flush but sometimes I couldn't understand exact directions on the bottle and I asked around it's like nobody has a clue but I'm glad you posted this video of doing this with the prestone radiator flush so now I know exactly how it's has to be done thank you.

Thanks for the video. I'm thinking I may add 50/50 instead of the 2nd distilled water only rinse. That way, I'd have closer to 50/50 in the engine block after the second draining. Then I can add the 50/50 for final fill. I don't like guessing at the mixture. I have heard and read that adding more than 50/50 can also not be good.

Hi, from England, UK. I think using a funnel for refilling would be a wise move to minimise spillages.

As USUAL Jonny the is an EXCELLENT video!!! Many many years ago I was an avid DIYer on my cars. That was one of the PM chores I used to do. I used the Prestone also. However I neglected to use DI water - which is very important Thank you for taking time to make these videos. This old dog can learn new tricks!!

Great vid. Some dodge and jeeps take orange HOAT coolant. Very specific and cannot be substituted with general purpose green

Thanks for the vid and work. One note though, you're using spring water, which has minerals in it, which people like, but it's not distilled water, it's more expensive, and those minerals will contribute to faster corrosion.

ALERT;.. Never drop cold water on a warm or hot engine. You will destroy it by Shock Cooling. ALERT..

well done. just what is needed as i tackle flushing my jeep cherokee I-6 engine after replacing the water pump.

today i let the parked engine run for 2.5 Hr's to check for any leaks as it got well warmed up. the few drips in the first
ten minutes stopped. and after cooling off for 30 minutes the cap was safely removed & about a pint of new
water added to top off the radiator.

tomorrow it will be taken for a 1-2 Hr road test . to further check that it is ready for a trip to the mtn's later
this week. where cell service is spotty. oh, i will fill 4 empty gallon jugs with water for the ride, along with
a good assortment of tools. since it took me 3 tries to get the new pump in without it leaking i got a lot
of practice learning what all is involved.

one thing in your vid' that was notable to learn was using regular tap water for the 1'st rinse. then for the final fill
to use distilled water to mix with the coolant . plus how you kept the draining simple by using
the stopcock. and not loosening any radiator hoses
