From Muzaffarpur, when BJP says to Ajay Nishad that he won the 2019 election because of "upar waale", there is no questioning that assessment. Me and all the people I know here voted to him just because of Modi's face. Heck many didn't even vote because he was the candidate. He did absolutely nothing for the improvement of this place. You come here and see, every BJP supporter wanted him removed, not that the new guy would do something better than him, but just so people get back faith in BJP that they listen to the people, and there is also a notion in the people's mind that removing Ajay will also send a message to the new guy, if you don't work, you'll be removed also...

He spoke of political dynasty as a privilege but did not speak about BJP walking the talk of not promoting dynasty politics

1. Vishnu Dev Soy was Minster of State in Modi Govt from 2014-19. He was denied ticket in 2019 elections but showed no resentment & continued to work for the party vigorously. Subsequently he was made President of Chatisgarh BJP. He was removed from this post after one term but he remained fully commited to the party. Now he has been made CM of Chhatisgarh.
2. Vinod Tawade was Minister in Fadnawis Govt, Maharastra from 2014- 19 but denied Assembly ticket in 2019. Without showing resentment he continued to remain commited to the party and even said that he would have committed some mistake and will introspect to come up to the expectation of the party. Subsequently he was made National Secretary and thereafter elevated as National General Secretary. Today he is considered very powerful in BJP organisation.
There are many such examples in BJP which prove that committed workers donot remain in wilderness for long. Ajay Nishad, Rahul Kaswan, Bijender Singh are not grass root workers of the party and believe in entitlement being dynasts and their leaving BJP will not harm the party in the long run.

The very fact that the Mps who were denied tickets jumped to Congress shows BJP was spot on...what is this video talking about

BJP has always been like this - how much work these guys have done for their constituency is not even talked about this analysis. BJP is very serious of development and MPs working for their own constituency. Also, pls remember when NaMo was General Secretary of BJP, everyone expected he will get cabinet seat. However, he was sent to a tough state where anti-incumbency was a ragung topic. He was embroiled in 2002 and everyone blamed him even some from his own party. He emerged victorious. Same strength and actions are expected from each party member.

This is one of the basic laws of politics.
Never let anyone become too powerful
to be accepted, keep them below your shoulders, hail to the 'Prince'. 😂😂😂.

BJP was aware that Kaswan, Nishad, & Singh were not trustworthy, their loyalty to BJP ideology was suspect and would jump to CONgress if denied a Lok Sabha seat. If you Mr. D. K. Singh, as 'The Print commentator' is unaware of it, and not even comprehend it, it only exhibits your incompetence.

It seems that atleast one way or another BJP is following the VIP culture removal as there is no guarantee that when you can be axed. Also this stand would catapult the karyakartas thinking that they might get chance too. Superb research DK. Awesome and hit the Bulls eye. Bravo Sir and I may add that exemplary reporting. Reading between the lines is sometimes DK has gained expertise. Big fan sir

They learnt it harder way in Karnataka, today Yeddiyurappa 's son is BJP chief and this is already causing just too much dissent within party. r. A leader should be unpredictable. That is the only thing that gives him the cut to be a leader. If you are too open and answering it definitely defies the quality of being leader . Even your boss SG is like that only as far as he talks. He is so unpredictable in slandering that he goes brutal on RaGa, apart from regular ruling dispensation. He does not end up being in company of Ravish Kumar or Rana Ayyub...although covertly he does concur with them.

All the examples you have sighted are dynasts from generations and have little to no connect on the ground. The real karyakartas committed to the sangh ideaology never get resentful and will continue to work with same vigour irrespective of tickets. These are the type of people who will make their place on top within the organization, sooner or later. I am surprised that one of the very few astute analysts like DK havent been able to see through this.

The Print, please note that BJP is not any Pariwarwadi party. You can day dream about political infighting in BJP but it will not materialise.

Good analysis. However do not agree with all interpretations. Loyalty to the party is the most important factor for BJP Karyakarthas. There are so many in the waiting list. Party need to balance expectations by considering many other factors also. Those wants only power will be exposed.

Nothing can be taken for granted in a party not run by a family and always working for the nation as the prime motto. Position holders in the party have to be on their toes and constantly keep performing. Family run parties where going on vacations is the norm, running the party from jail or from bed is the norm - such parties will never understand what BJP is. GOD bless our Prime Minister.
