Zooming in and out every five seconds gets annoying really fast.

I know it's unoriginal to be on the Zen hype train, but I started using in December and it's continued to get better and better. I graduated to my main by early February. It's just a joy to use.

"uses Firefox ESR" does not seem correct. Zen shows version info "1.12.1b (Firefox 138.0.1) (aarch64)" clearly indicating it is based on non-ESR Firefox.

Also Zen doesn't support DRM so u can't stream Netflix or Spotify! (Windows and macos only)

i tried zen browser but somehow it's resolution seems to be not sharp like chrome, edge or opera. when i open pdf file its quite noticeable. i tried arc it seems fine there. but on firefox or firefox fork browsers it seems resolution gets low... is it just me or others having same issue??

Does it support PWA and can it be installed on Mac, Windows, , iPhone and Android? 🙂

These are my must haves for a browser:
Extension support. Specifically Manifest V2 support for now. Hopefully that will evolve into an open source standard that has zero evil Goggilification.
*_EASY_* Sync between devices.

Zero crypto bullshit. Sell your Ponzi scheme somewhere else weirdo.

Other than that I'm open to trying new stuff.

Have been using Zen for about a month and switching to Firefox instead at least because of following issues:
- Can not conveniently open a new tab to a bookmark, since "new tab" button opens a rofi-like menu where you need to open some page first and only after that navigate to a bookmarked page
- Can not move out a tab to open it in a new window (it sticks a tab into a split-pane view which can not be turned off)
- Scorll bar on a white page is completely invisible

It's odd hearing about Arc being so battery hungry, I get phenomenal battery life on my laptop with Arc. But if it really is that power hungry I can't wait to see how my battery life is with Zen. Arc's new in built ad-blocker is just garbage and the update I installed this morning made ublock origin stop working. Zen works with ublock origin, so I guess this will be my new browser for a bit.
