I'm 1400 and I've practised this endgame about 1000 times. I don't know why, I've never had it in a game yet.

At the end the quickest sequence was to play a waiting move with the bishop, like Be6, then play Na6 and then check mate with Bd5.
3 moves rather than the 4 they used.

It is actually impressive feature in time pressure. Hikaru himself failed to do it with almost 2 min on clock. Kostenjuk did it very well it in womens championships few days ago, only few seconds on clock, but she did it almost automatically., did not hesitate at all

I've done this twice and I'm 1800. Gms have no excuse
