Well thanks for the tips, but I wasn't ready to go back to defaults yet .
However I just wanted to mention one thing I did that sped things up considerably .
Used task manager to stop all processes that Microsoft Edge was running .

I think I figured it out. Mcafee on chrome extension was causing the freezes and slow down of Google Chrome. I don't know why. Thanks for the help.

I tried everything i can think of and nothing worked until i disabled mcafee extension in my chrome. After that my chrome tabs were running smooth like butter. I was so frustrated since last 5 months because despite being a gaming laptop, websites on my chrome were always lagging and Chrome would freeze. What's the use of all this power and performance when your gaming laptop can't even run chrome tabs ? I thought my ram wasn't enough and i was seriously considering to buy more ram from Amazon to fix this issue. This motherfucker macafee extension was the real reason for my chrome lagging since last 5 months. Thanks for video. Keep it up
