This was the original stunt previz we used for the causeway fight in Captain America The Winter Solider. Lots of things here are off. I was still developing my skills as a camera op and editor. Sam Hargrave helped me a lot along the way. Drove me nuts at times but as all brothers do we had fights about how to get this done but in the end it all comes from a place of love and we both new that. Love ya bro. :-)

James Young also made his debut as Winter Solider and our main fight choreographer. He, along with Sam, Chris, Heidi, Amy, and myself had a lot of fun experimenting with the action. There is actually another half to this fight but it doesn't fit the story so it's better to save that stuff for a rain day. Enjoy. And have fun picking this apart. I do. :-P

That Captain America stuntman is Sam Hargrave, a fight choreographer/stunt director who recently directed the Netflix action movie EXTRACTION starring Chris Hemsworth. The long shot scene in the movie was his creation. Hands down to this man.

When i do this it just looks like 2 drunk guys slapping each other until i knock over my moms vase and she tells me im too old for this kind of shit and she drives me around to fill out job applications.

And this fight is why the Cap Vs Cap fight in endgame doesn't make sense. Steve had trained hard with SHIELD after the first avengers movie.

No way that fight against himself would even have been close.
