Teegarden's Star is an M-type Red Dwarf star, present in the constellation Aries.
It is just 12.5 light years away from our Solar System.
It is almost 8 billion years old and it is discovered in 2003.
Astronomers observed this star for several years.
Recently, scientists discovered two earth like planets in the star system and they named it as Teegarden b and Teegarden c.
Both planets are bigger compared to earth.
One year in Teegarden b is 5 days and Teegarden c is 11 days on earth.
Both planets also present in the habitable zone.
The two planets are expected to retain a dense atmosphere, and also have higher possibilities for the presence of liquid water.
Scientists believe that these planets have a higher chances of life existence.
