This video shows you step-by-step how to uninstall Cisco Packet Tracer 7.1.1 network simulator program developed by Cisco on Linux Mint 19 / 18 operating system.

To uninstall PT 7.1.1:

Step 1: If you have not installed #LinuxMint before, please refer to the video tutorial below to install it with VMware.

Step 2: If you want to uninstall or delete the #PacketTracer simulator program you use while preparing your Cisco exams on your Linux computer, first open the terminal on the desktop.

Step 3: Run the sudo su command to switch to root in the terminal, type your root password, and press Enter.

Step 4: Since PT is installed in the opt folder on Linux systems, first search the pt folder to delete the setup folder and delete it.

Step 5: Now, execute the commands in our article in order to delete the program's start menu, desktop shortcut, and launcher shortcuts.
