Funny how I learned this thing existed from a Back At The Barnyard episode where said catfish was working with Otis on something called "Pizza Gum" (Yeah. That show was one of the weirder guilty pleasures as far as cartoons I watched growing up go)

Funny, if I saw a walking catfish, I'd say don't worry buddy, I'll help you! Not knowing he wouldn't need my help finding water at all.

Just had a major Rain storm in Pinellas Country. Found almost 10 of these wiggling around in parking lots and a few in road gutters. I knew they were Catfish but have never seen one before. The long streamlined backfin threw me off.

How could a loach be a predator of a catfish? Maybe to the eggs and youngs, but the grown catfish eat the loach!
