I had an American Staffordshire Terrier pick me out. He showed up at the end of our road at the farm. He just sat a watched me working for hours. When I called out to him, he rocketed straight to me. We became best friends for 15 years. Over that fifteen years he saved me from a water moccasin that I nearly sat on. He saved my wife from an attack by a feral dog pack. He protected my young son when a trio of stray dogs tried to attack him. Buster was the best dog ever.

I lived in the Dominican Republic for almost 3 years. When it was time to move back home to the states, the 2 island dogs that I adopted made the trip home with me. It’s been 10 years since they both became members of the family and they’re still living the good pampered life that every dog deserves.
