In a interview Lizzy said when they approached her about doing this they told her to use their vocals as part of the instrumentation and write her own lyrics for the song. This song is so good!

They are more sophisticated musicians than many people give them, credit for. I'm sure you noticed the change from 3/4 to 4/4 time near the end.

When this collab was proposed, as I understand it, the band gave Lzzy a translation so she could see what the story/message of the song was, but they let her do all the English writing herself to make it partially hers, too. (Plus, I imagine it's easier for someone to write lyrics of the language they speak natively).

This song makes me feel many different things at the same time. Having heard and enjoyed the original first, it was already very good in my estimation - but I must say, the inclusion of the English lyrics increased the sticking power enormously.

I am sad for you. This was written to celebrate the women in their lives, especially their moms. I feel Lzzy's vocals & lyrics added just that little extra to an already beautiful song. It will bring me to tears sometimes.

I think you should consider the message of the song just a little more.
This may not be the best musically, but personally, I will be sending this to all the women in my life around Mother's Day.
