They did this song in collaboration with Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara (who figures more prominently in the official music video) for the Metallica Blacklist album. Their instructions from Metallica were to take the song, turn it upside down and inside out, and make it their own. They accomplished that in 1 week. 👍😎

I hope you get to see the warning live, they are playing two festivals in Germany in about a week, including headlining a concert in Berlin on the 31st.

Great Reaction Noelle! Their version kind of breathed new life into this older song. Love it! The Warning are headed to Europe on May 27 for a show in Plymouth, England, then they are off to Germany for 3 shows. The first is in Berlin on May 31 and then they play twice in Nurnberg, June 3 at Rock im Park and on June 4 at Rock am Ring. After that they are touring around Europe until June 26.

Hi Noelle. I saw The Warning 5 days ago in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and they blew the roof off of the venue. They did a fantastic job showcasing their "Error" album, interweaving their older hits in between. I'm so glad I got to see these young ladies early in their career. I'm 68 years old and it's been a long time since I've been as excited about a band. By the way, I love Cobra Spell and have both of your EP's. You are a wonderful addition to the band and look forward to great things for both Cobra Spell and The Warning. Bravo!

I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Alessia Cara very sweetly puts you to bed, then Dany rouses the troups, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce—all at the same time. I love this one. Glad you enjoyed this remake.

That is an inspired rearrangement of a classic. How they repeated the bridge was amazing… and I loved how they waited for the outro to play the main riff in full.
