It's funny, the way that guitars are manufactured now makes cheap guitars actually really good. You can get a really awesome professional sounding guitar for $500-$1000 easily. Honestly there are a good handful of really "high end" expensive guitars that are just awful.

I'm a terrible guitarrist....after 30 years of playing guitar have never ever been a good enough to justify getting an expensive guitar guess a 300 bucks guitar fits my skills....I'm so bad that I have never been part of a band....that being said ....I have 3 bucks. Guitars I won't tell anybody I have them....because they will say something like at the beginning of this I don't care what they say just enjoy my guitars and that's enough for didn't get them to show off.

The first one is super rare but it does happen, I grew up playing guitars I built with parts form woodshop and junk guitars from pawnshops, I'm not the best player but going from something I built with no experience or bought for $100 with a busted truss rod and an action as high as hydrolines to something a simple as a Tele or Strat that was set up properly was life changing.

Saw this dude once at a Guitar Center was there to get some new cables tuner and try out some of the basses and I see this guy ask for one the best guitars in the store he gets it all ready and when he starts playing and it is single handed the worst thing I ever heard once playing notes not in scale and trying way to hard to do a solo he ended and he straight up told the employee “you call this the best guitar this horrible” and left the store
