I mean, I get what they meant by missing her mouth. Her mouth is one of the best parts of her rig IMO, the lipsync while also constantly remaining sufficiently "catty" in shape is top level.

...but what about occlusion culling? In some environments, polygons which are completely obscured by other (nearer) polygons are discarded before rendering, to reduce GPU load. In a certain and narrow sense, 3D avatars might _not_ have object permanence as we would typically know it, if the render pipeline is efficient enough.

The tracking is pretty insane to me, how the face can apparently keep track of the kind of face you're making, sure makes expressions so much easier.

I think the best part of that is that Girl DM is a 3D avatar... it's entirely possible that parts of her body disappear when she puts something over them in order to prevent mesh clipping.
