The new DLSS model on RDR2 is crazy. I would have guessed that it's like DLSS balanced

The difference in red dead 2 is astounding... those trees look SO much better with almost no flickering or pixel crawl. Its hard to believe thats being upscaled from 480p~

Wow I did not expect ultra performance to look so clear. Night and day difference between the older DLSS ultra performance. DLSS is such cool tech. I just wish developers didn't use it as a way to cut corners with performance.

Thanks Steve for doing this video as this is what I wanted to see ….. DLSS UP with the Transformer model! In addition, I’d love to see this video with Ray Tracing on the 4060 w/ UP Transformer to see if it can be done now? I looove the videos and your dedication to more budget friendly content.

i love this feature. the reflections in cyberpunk were very noisy and now theyre stable and solid. i spent too much time last night telling friends 'look! this is awesome!' - i also had to do a fresh install

6:18 that smear when revealing what is past the cliff edge though really stood out to me

I always enjoyed your creative video ideas… or at the very least, humorous in a way that only you could achieve 😂 like I see the words “DLSS 4” and “480p” and can’t help but chuckle

Really impressive: this'll breath new life to older 20 and 30 series RTX cards.

My mind was completely blown at how great maxed out Alan Wake 2 looked at DLSS Performance at 1440p with this new model. Witchcraft

I'm glad you made this video, I was playing around with it last night with my 3060Ti but none of my owned games had any of the new features 🤣

If went back in time and met the young gamers who plays games at legendary 1024 x 768 CRT monitors and told them that 20 years later they will play on EVEN LOWER RESOLUTIONS with "FAKE FRAMES"... they would think you are crazy

EDIT: I see I started a WAR in comment section. Both DLSS and FG are great technologies. Also, when it come to "Fake Frames" There are no such thing as a Fake frame. ALL COMPUTER PRODUCED FRAMES ARE FAKE. It doesn't matter whether it comes from render pipeline or it comes from neural network. Although REAL FRAMES do exist. If you ever saw an IMAX Film or a Film Photograph... That is the real frame. Light itself engraved on to silver dust permanently. Also real frames comes with absurd levels of detail. Example: Oppenheimer was shot on 70mm FILM. The reel canister of the film weighs 600 pounds. Its 11 MILES LONG. EACH FRAME CONSIST OF AROUND 18K RESOLUTION. Final resolution is determined by how good is your scanner. To even comprehend the level of detail. RAW file of this movie would be in to HUNDREDS OF TERABYTES of data.

So when some one says, "fake frames" asks him if they ever even saw a real one.

Really cool to see this functionality come to the Nvidia App 🙌 For Ultra Performance mode it looks damn good, it's crazy how quick the tech has come along. Even the most aggressive DLSS setting looks infinitely better than the best settings of the original FSR. Thank you for getting on this so quick, great stuff as always ☺

DLSS Transformer model, at 1440p Performance, now looks better than the CNN model on Quality for me in pretty much every game tested. In over half of them it looks clearer than native TAA too. It's actually sick.

Switch 2 will run modern games quite well if it can leverage similar up scaling 👍🏻

Please move while testing, the shortcomings with this tech come with movement, so it's best to showcase how it actually works on gaming, great video, been watching your content for years now

The new DLSS looks really great and stabilizes the scenes a lot, and the performance loss of like 5 fps is nothing to complain about. The 4060 (Ti) is honestly what most people can afford, the 4070 starts at like the equivalent of $900 here so yeah...
