A POWERFUL tank with a FLAME THROWER - TO-55 in War Thunder

The TO-55 in War Thunder is a Premium Medium Tank that has a FLAME THROWER! That's right, a high tier Flame Tank that actually has some trouble getting frags with it!

The TO-55 is at 8.0 which is the lowest BR T-55 in the game. As such this vehicle does not get access to the APFSDS round. That's not a problem, though. The best shell is the APHE and we all know it! :)

The 100mm is stabilized and is more than enough to deal with most opponents that are thrown at you. The TO-55 party piece is of course the flame thrower. It works on open top SPAA like the M42 and ZSU-57-2 but fails to roast things like the M113 TOW, the M163 and other things like the UDES 33. Disappointing but hopefully this is fixed to give it some viability.

What it is REALLY good at doing is blinding enemies with thick black smoke and fire! It's also just really cool to watch.

Wish they would expand fire damage to enclosed light armor too so napalm and such has a point other than looking pretty.

The flamethrower is like a close-range smoke thrower, and you can annoy your teammates( best part of the tank)

I like the apfsds on the T-55A, but i don't see this as a T-55A with a missing adfsds. Given there are T-54s as that same br, i'd rather look at it as a T-54 with a stabilizer and no br penalty, and that's insane

I’ve always been a sucker for weather effects. The high tier snow maps and using thermals is so much fun. But Gaijin truly needs some help in the lighting department.

I don’t know why, but T-54/55 tanks and their derivatives are some of my favorites to both watch and play. Something about them is super satisfying.

Would love to set gaijin expand upon fire, maybe if a fire it hot enough it could soften the steel and give it less thickness value for a few seconds, or perhaps it could affect tracks and make it harder to move, or stuff like napalm bbs could burn curtain terrain making you go slower on it

Flamethrower is so situational they could stand to buff it a bit, make it damage engines and/or obscure vision. In Sim it could damage crew if the compartment had been breached by a round

I wish they'd make it so that flames on the engine and radiator intakes would begin to damage the engine and radiator over time. Not only would it make the flame tanks more useful but the incendiary bombs too.

4:25 thats a very strange situation here. Im used to the teammates all to be at A and almost noone at B or C, what always really annoys me. Here its the other way around, what i really like to see in my battles on Abandoned Factory. I hope its not just cause of Battle Mode....
