In India there are more male than female. Also in our ancient culture men had responsibility to earn for entire facility and women use to be house wife. Women could participate in agriculture. But things have changed with time, now our constitution gives equal rights to women. They have equal right in property. Salary, Job Opportunity, Education is not affected by gender. I belong to Hindu religion so can comment on only my religion. Right now our President is Women. Our space agency ISRO Mars mission was led by Women and maximum team of scientists were women. Unlike Europe in India Salary is is not given based on gender. It is same for both. In 1.4 billion of population 1 or 2 cases here and there. West make the issue of this. you calculate percentage. Since we worship Female form of God also, we respect them. Crime ageist women is mostly done by Muslims or criminal minded peopl.
