Only Fools and Sauces

I needed to build a prop of a pub bar for an event at work.
The budget was non-existent, but luckily I had a load of wood from the window display we made at Christmas.

I'm no woodworker by any stretch of the imagination, but this was quite a fun build and I wanted to keep it fun for those watching too.
I'm hoping to upset a few traditional grumps, but just wanted to try and remind everyone to not take themselves so seriously.

The prop is great, it's super sturdy considering it's just made from second hand ratty 2x3s and it looks the part as a traditional English bar.

There was a lot of things I've never done before on this build. Glueing up a tabletop, mitres, even staining! So I learned a lot in the process and got something cool I can hopefully keep out of it.

I'm looking forward to Part 2 when I get the bar back, and we can make it ridiculous! I've actually always wanted a bar of my own, so I'm glad this opportunity came up.

That is a very impressive cup holder! Just a tip, if you switch your router from 2G to 5G it will be quieter and the finish will be a bit better.
