Out of the 31 approved projects, apparently for whatever reason, only 13 will be made - so we aren’t out of the woods yet. Let’s just hope there aren’t any design issues and this gets through!

Interesting, even if that previous anniversary vote ends up without bionicle (which is weird since the results were overwhelming); we can still have this!

Always wanted a bionicle Mural on my shelf. Especially one of the village of water, the leaf dome huts on water was really unique!

Imagine if they relaunched Bionicle as a sub branch of Lego Technic, just like the first time. But obviously using more advanced gear systems in more interesting ways (and I’m not talking like the system in the gen 2 toa, that was over the top in my opinion).

I was never really into bionicle, and the main reason I know or care about it is because G1 came before hero factory, which I was really into. Even so, this is pretty cool news. Something I have always wondered about is whether new bionicle sets could be made using modern technic pieces.

If the world ever falls into a fallout style nuclear apocalypse and I'm out roaming the destroyed buildings scavenging for supplies, I hope I run into a place like this, and then proceed to carry hundreds of pounds of bionicles back to camp where everyone else would proceed to kick me out of the tribe. It would be worth it.

We are going to need to work together to get Bionicle (and Hero Factory) back, man. I mean, HF is turning 15 this year, and Bionicle is turning 25 next time. Have you tried emailed this to Lego Customer Service? That’s what I am planning to do.

I used to have a lot of mocs from Bionicle. But by the time I moved out of my old house (2007-2016), I sadly threw them all into the garbage. More space for paper work from school.

So many great projects to choose from! It’s a shame they are only making 13. Look forward to your more in depth review of the 31 options and which would make top 13. Judging by the excitement in comments from each project’s page (still early days I know), Bionicle and Castle in Forest will def make top 13.
