Warren Buffett during the Berkshire Shareholder Meeting held on May 2nd virtually stated that he sold all of his shares in the airlines. He did not trim his earnings - he stated that Berkshire does not trim. When Berkshire sells, it sells. Unfortunately, he believes the Coronavirus has completely changed the airline industry for the worse and the uncertainty is too high to continue to hold them. Even though he may have lost around 3-4 billion on that decision, he does not feel comfortable with the future of the airlines like America, Continental, Delta, and United.
