Three of the four Americans released from Russian custody Thursday are back in the U.S. Retired U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich and Alsu Kurmasheva, a Radio Free Europe reporter who was also freed by Russia, were greeted by family, friends, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

So glad they were released at last, especially Paul Whelan who had to endure the most. As a non-American activist who stands against American foreign policy madness (!), times like this make me pause to remind myself about the EVIL of this tiny man Putin and why human rights matter!
