Alex Edmondson threw 83 mph! Although he was 13 by then, it's still the fastest I've seen or heard of

Why don't they show the speeds of pitches anymore?

I wish i redid my life as a 10 year old.

I'd be 100 syringes of steroids into the season, 9 games in.

108 MPH equivalent MLB pitches but with the smallest testies in the world and telling mom to DIAF.

Am I biased to say the level of pitching has dropped tremendously... since 2016

Those monster pitchers are all 13 years old, children grows fast during that age, now Little league limit the age to in the game birthday from 3/31 to 9/1, so the pitchers fastest ball became rare.

Imagine all the legends who never got the chance who threw 85 allegedly in little league, and I’m sure we all think we know a kid who stacks up with the greatest little leaguers who ever lived but I witnessed the greatest of all time in my own little league nick Donato who I saw at 12 years old regularly dot corners in between 80 and 85 all throughout his 12 year old season and the team he was on won states 10 and 11 year old year and he snapped his elbow when he was in the tournament after districts and this team was destined to go to the llws like this was the team Toms River prepared to beat all year

few of these kids look a little older than 12/13. First guy could probably get into clubs without being carded

Missing the kid from DR that got disqualified after being caught being 14...

It's crazy in LLWS this is a no hitter every time. In anything above 14u it's a homerun. Just today saw a kid built like a toothpick hit a 380 foot triple of a 85mph fastball

It’s funny how the international teams pick players from their whole country while you have American teams from a town of 2000 people

Wish I would've seen some real heat while in little league... probably would've prepared me a little more for high school ball when I would see 80 many times...and never make good contact or any contact at all. These kids are seeing 80+ at 12 and 13 years old! Hitting 80 in the cages is so much easier when you know it's coming and right down the middle lol

These kids are probably in high school

You don’t have to worry about any American kids getting on this list in 2022. I haven’t seen any kids throwing heat yet.

No disrespect meant but there are a lot of players that age throwing low 80's. Most of your better players don't play for little league. The reason being their field dimensions are way to close. At age 13 all our kids played by high school rules which are Major League dimensions of pitching at 60ft 6 in. and base paths of 90 ft. Our 9/10 teams pitched at 54 ft. This gave them the experience needed to make their high school teams. Our team played in the Baltimore Metro League and than did tournaments up and down the east coast. Most of the players made varsity their freshman year. If you take some of the better pitchers and pitch them at 46 ft. That just doesn't make sense. Even our Rec teams didn't play at those dimensions.
