I have to say after researching aquariums for many many hours on the internet this channel is a God send. Dude. You know your stuff! I can generally find any info I need here and no one does a better job at presenting the information than this channel.

Keep up the good work!

Most of this sounds like common sense when you explain it but some of us need that spoon fed to us cause no one talks about it! Thank you!!! I’ve had a planted tank for months and I honestly didn’t think about the food thing I just kept replacing the dying plants, knew about the melting back thing but I didn’t have a clue about the fertilizer. Been so worried about overdosing my tank, I want even thinking about feeding my plants! Thank you!!

I have never tossed a dying plant lol so far they all pull through eventually. If only fish did the same :’(

I’ve always love watching these old videos because it feels like I am in a fish class.

I'm new to keeping tropical fish. Still haven't introduced any until I get the plant life up and running. Found your video extremely interesting. You were straight into the info....and I didn't have to listen to any waffle as I do by most other who start by telling about their recent illnesses LOL. Thanks indeed

Love this video! I just started my planted tank and I am trying to have healthy baby tears that I inherited from a friend. They started turning a yellowish green color but I also see new growth. Not sure if over time, the new growth will overtake the old stuff that looks like it's dying. I am using Flourish Excel & I have the NPK combo. Tanks a 45 gallon with 30 tetras and 1 clown pleco. I am injecting CO2 with a citric acid & baking soda mix as well.

thank you so much for this Plant 101 series...I really appreciate the way you speak, I can follow the way you think beautifully and I personally really appreciate how well you stay on topic and don't spend time with how you feel about things outside the hobby....your videos are time well spent. I am in Taos, NM so I will not be in your store anytime soon!
