Disney goofed in canceling the show on Broadway. yes, the pandemic hit, but it was just gaining ground. if all the others went into hibernation, this one should be on schedule to come back. it's delightful. the tour, thankfully, will go on.

For anyone wondering why the Broadway show will not reopen, yall need to actually look at the box office data before the pandemic. Frozen's ticket sales had been on a steady decline from roughly six months into the run (so, fall 2018) onward. Not catastrophically low, but not a major hit. The tour will sell well outside New York. Perhaps Disney Theatrical can put money and energy behind other projects (fingers crossed for the Aida revival)

This musical is the epitome of an over-produced frivolous disney spectacle that would be better experienced by just watching the beautifully animated movie. This musical has no point other than capitalization on the already successful movie.
